Bernard laporte camille muffat biography

Camille Muffat started out primarily in individual medley but later turned to mid-distance freestyle races. The highlight of her career was winning gold in the free at the London Olympics, where she also added a silver medal in the free and a bronze in the 4× free relay with France.

At the Long-Course World Championships, Muffat won four bronze medals, two in and two in , but she won gold in the freestyle at the Short-Course Worlds. At the Short-Course Europeans, Muffat won seven medals, with four golds, one in the IM, and three golds in She also won two medals (silver and bronze) at the Long-Course Europeans in and Muffat was the IM gold medalist at the Mediterranean Games.

Muffat began studying for a degree in economics after high school, but left school to concentrate on her swimming.
