Jimma University (JU) in collaboration with Africa One Health University Network (AFROHUN-Ethiopia) launched the Center for One Health Research, Training, and Outreach (JU-COH) at Jimma University
Jimma University and AFROHUN Ethiopia supported by USAID fund, have been working together for the last 13 years to implement and advocate the One Health approach; an integrated, unifying approach that aims to balance and optimize the health of people, animals, and ecosystems.
Jimma University hosted the inaugural workshop of the Center for One Health Research, Training, and Outreach (JU-COH) at Jimma University (JU) which was established to institutionalize One Health approach and collaborate with similar centers in the world.
